The Old Yale Brewing Company has been making craft beer right here in British Columbia since 2000. Led by brewmaster Larry Caza in Chilliwack BC this team of beer professionals combines passion, carefully selected ingredients and the ‘best drinking water in Canada’ to create their line of delicious brews. The availability of this local Chilliwack Craft Beer is improving because of this commitment to quality. Not only can you find the beer at select craft retailers but the Old Yale Pale Ale is currently being distributed through BC Government Liquor Stores.
The Old Yale Craft Beer can be found in two forms. The Old Yale Pale Ale and Sergeant’s IPA are both available in standard 6-packs of 355ml cans and are both adorned with Canadian Brewing Awards from their recent acclaim. In addition to 6-packs the Sergeant’s IPA along with seasonal offerings such as the Sasquatch Stout, Outta Wack Mango Wheat and the Chilliwack Blonde ale are all available in 650ml bomber-style bottles. Watch for these and future seasonal offerings at your local craft beer retailer. Brewmaster, Larry Caza and his whole team have been busy and are always working on something new and unique to tempt your thirst! There is much more delicious craft beer to come from this micro-brewery! Nestled into a more industrial area of Chilliwack you may not pick out this craft brewer’s location off the freeway. Located just off Lickman Ave on the west end of town it is only a short jaunt away but you will need to make a point to find it. Once you are there, the open-design allows you to see the entire operation from the front counter where you can also fill your growler with a brewery favorite ale.
